Who is behind the desiderm® brand?


Kerstin Schmid-Siklic is the founder of the desiderm® Academy and is responsible for Business Development, Marketing, and Medical Education at desiderm® Germany GmbH.


For many years, she has been developing specialized training and patient care concepts for the management of therapy-related skin and nail conditions in oncology patients. As a speaker and educator working across Europe, she shares her expertise with pharmacies, podiatrists, medical skincare professionals, and oncology nurses throughout Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.


Among her key developments are the ONKOPED® Training Program, the ONKOFLAGE® Technique, and the desiderm® Impulse Technique.
She also initiated interdisciplinary patient care concepts designed to strengthen collaboration between pharmacies, podiatrists, medical skincare professionals, and other healthcare partners involved in the care of oncology patients.


Her vision is to create a holistic approach to patient care that combines medical expertise, specialized skincare, and practice-oriented education.
This philosophy continues to form the foundation of desiderm® product development, the desiderm® Academy, and the company’s international partnerships.
