Cooling Care Kit + Cooling Gel Socks
A therapy-supportive care measure for chemotherapy patients, designed to help reduce the risk of temporary nail deformities and discoloration, as well as infections of the nail folds and, in severe cases, complete nail loss.
In addition, patients may experience painful inflammatory skin reactions affecting the palms of the hands and the soles of the feet, including blistering and skin peeling, which can have a significant impact on their quality of life.
To help prevent chemotherapy from being interrupted or discontinued due to severe skin-related side effects, preventive supportive skincare should be initiated as early as possible.
Wearing cooling gel gloves or cooling gel socks during chemotherapy infusion can significantly reduce the risk of toxic skin reactions and nail damage.
